Enjoy the first season of our children’s miniseries for the pandemic. The series was created to familiarise children with the pandemic reality. Children also feel disturbed by the news about the situation in our country and the world, which reaches them only partially, but directly affects their lives. In the series Papet Family: Breaking News, with the help of theatrical puppets – the Papet Family – we explain difficult issues in a simple way, while encouraging children to behave appropriately.
In the first episode, entitled ‘P for Pasta and P for Panic’, children learn about basic hygiene and personal contact during an epidemic. The second one, entitled ‘#stayhome’, explains why we all have to stay at home. The third one finally features Marlenka and Mirka’s eagerly awaited Grandma Irena who is stranded in Zanzibar and can’t return because the planes don’t fly, and in the process the audience learns what a quarantine is. In the fourth one, it turns out that the quarantine can sometimes be unbearable, but nature can be a saviour, although it also prepares its own surprises. The fifth episode came at a time when the restrictions have been partially lifted, and Marlenka would like to end the season of her series with an interview with someone famous. Unfortunately, she doesn’t know anyone famous. Grandpa Richard, however, can always find advice or a suitable seasonal job….
