“Little Red Riding Hood” is a tale originating from oral tradition and spread throughout Europe. To this day, it remains one of the favourite fairy tales for children. The first author to write down his version of the story was Charles Perrault, and the moral he proposed was clear – ‘beware of strangers’. In his puppet adaptation, Chilean-born versatile artist David Zuazola, actor-puppeteer, director and visual artist, takes the action of the fairy tale into the future, when the last humans and strange creatures born from rubbish and pollution inhabit a devastated Earth. Red Riding Hood is the last girl born on Earth – will she manage to survive and change the fate of the world?
