We have an inter-season break during the summer holidays, when we do not play shows at the headquarters, but you will be able to see one of them – ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ – on 31 July and 1 August at 1pm at the Fish Market during the St. Dominic’s Fair. The shows are not ticketed, you are welcome!
Would the tale of Little Red Riding Hood still be relevant two hundred years from now? And what would the world in which the characters live look like then? Hailing from Chile, versatile artist David Zuazola, actor-puppeteer, set designer and playwright, takes the action of the fairy tale into the future, when the devastated Earth is inhabited by the last humans and strange creatures born from rubbish and pollution. Red Riding Hood is the last girl born on Earth – will she manage to survive and change the fate of the world?
St. Dominic’s Fair is one of the most important summer outdoor events in Europe. Here you can buy, haggle, look for treasures and find beautiful frames for souvenir photographs. Different languages can be heard around, traditions and customs mix. It is noisy and colorful, there is something going on almost everywhere.
